How to Install ArcGIS 9.3 in easy steps

Please Follow these steps to install ArcGIS 9.3 on your Desktop / Laptop.
Note: For better performace and operation we highly recommend our students to have Windows 7 (32/64 Bit) any version (Preferred Windows Ultimate).

Step 1.

Get a fresh copy of ArcGIS 9.3 from your class instructor or you may also download from Link given at the end of this tutorial.

1.1: Find the folder Licence server setup inside ArcGIS 9.3 folder.

1.2: Run LMsetup and follow the instruction below.

1.3: Check on “I received the licence file by fax” and click on “Create” button.

1.4: Click on “Edit” button.

1.5: Type any thing inside and click “Ok” button.

1.6: Click “Ok” for warning window and go for “Next”.

1.7: Click on “install” button to install LMsetup.

1.8: Do not restart your computer yet, instead choose restart later option.

Step 2:

 2.1: Open license file given in “ArcGIS9.3 Crack” folder.

2.2: Double click on file and open with notepad from Program List.

2.3:  Go to your System properties through right click on my computer icon on your desktop, copy system name  and replace with name in Notepad file and save it.

 2.4: Now come back in license server crack folder and copy all the files.

 2.5: Now replace the above copied files in C>Program Files>ESRI>Licence>arcgis9x.

Step 3:

3.1: Now go to start menu>Program File>ArcGIS>License Manager Tools>Config Services.

3.2:  Click on Browse button and find the lmgrd file in C>Program File>ESRI>Licence>arcgis9x.

 3.3: Repeat the above practice to browse the “License file”.

 3.4:  Browse any file for third option.

3.5: After adding all three files save the services.

3.6: Now jump to “start/stop/Reread” button and click firstly on Start Server, Secondly, Reread Server and finally Stop server. Make sure that Start server and reread server run successfully and ignore if stop server fails. Now close the License Manager Tool.

Step 4:

4.1: Now run the Setup given in ArcGIS 9.3 folder.

 4.2: Click on next “button” and “accept the license term” after accepting make sure that you are installing complete version of ArcGIS9.3 as given below. Wait a while it may takes several minutes in installation.

 4.3: After complete installation of ArcGis Setup click on Register Later window as shown below. Finally Restart your system.

Step 5:

 5.1: After Successful Restart go to start menu>All programes> ArcGIS> Desktop Administrator> License Product> Arcinfo Floating>Apply

 5.2: Copy your System name through right click on Computer Properties and paste into Desktop Administrator> License Manager> Change> Paste Name> Apply> Ok. Close the Window.

5.3: Run any ArcGIS 9.3 apllication (ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcScene e.t.c.) to make sure about successful installation of ArcGIS 9.3.
